National Painting Competition

Bhubaneswar – 04-01.09 Sriman Suraj Dash, a Class-V student of D.A.V Public School Chandrasekharpur has bagged the National Child Award which carries a cash prize of Rs 25,000/- and a citation. Joining as the Chief guest Sri Sushil Kumar Sindhe. Union Minister of Power handed over the Prize to suraj in a special function organized in New Delhi recently.

Akankhya Kabi Std. VI of DAV School Chandrasekharpur has been selected for National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement 2009 by Women and Child Welfare Department of Govt. of India. At the age of 11 she has received more than 400 Prizes, awards , citations and recognition in the field of art ,culture ,sports and other cultural activities.
